Really enjoyed this race. A great, undulating route mixing road and trail and very well marshalled at nearly every turn. Organisation was excellent at the sports field and can never complain about free cake at the end! 🙂

Thank you for today, my first half marathon and it was amazing. Such a friendly event. Never experienced a place like it. Fantastic community run event. So friendly and well organised. Lovely route which was very well signed and marshalled. Excellent refreshments at the finish- specially the cake feast 😋. Amazing value for money, and great to support a local event. Loving the purple medal and t-shirt too I have to add! See you next year!

Excellent organisation A great deal of effort must have gone into making the event Covid safe. A nice course (apart from the enormous hill!!) and plenty of smiling Marshalls to help keep us on track. The hot drink at the end was very welcome. Will definitely return next year.

We had so much fun today! Thank you so, so much to everyone who must have put in so much time and planning to get us out running. The Covid precautions were fantastic and I felt super safe. The marshalls were welcoming and encouraging – thank you for keeping us in the straight and narrow! The course was challenging but fun and well signed. Thank you and see you in March for the half!
